Emergency Closure Procedure
There could be a number of reasons why The Academy may close early or not open at all for staff and students. the most common reason would be because of bad weather.
Snow: If there is a significant snowfall overnight our staff will assess the local situation and will make a decision by 7.00am as to whether The Academy will be closed for the day. A message will then be sent out via MCAS informing parents of the decision. Our website will be updated as soon as a decision is reached.

You can also subscribe to an East Sussex alert system that will inform you by mobile or email if we are closed for a reason. It is located on the East Sussex County Council website.
